My landlords are lazy. It's true. I've had a lot of trouble with internet this year, since my landlords decided that instead of providing cable and letting each renter choose their own inernet provider, it would be cheaper if THEY provided the internet and let us pay for our own TV (though we're all required to go through Comcast. Some choice there).

Well, the internet is bad. My 56k dial up was more reliable than the service they provide. It will be working fine one day, then I won't be able to connect at all the next. And my FAVORITE problem? It has decided that I'm not allowed to view certain pages. I can't get on: Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo Groups, DeviantART about 50% of the time, or RamCT (where all my teachers go to post my grades and HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS!) I'm thrilled. As you can see.

I play World of Warcraft and every 30mins to 2 hours my internet disconnects me because it's been a while since I opened a browser page and clicked the "Continue to the Internet" button. Joy. Good thing I'm not raiding anymore... but it makes questing a bitch, LOL!

And when I go in to tell them (since none of my polite complaint letters have done me any good) that the internet is unacceptable, they blame the troubles on my computer. Even though I've NEVER had this problem until they got the Meraki Wifi. Even though I don't have ANY of those problems when I take my computer (it's a laptop) on to campus, or to my parents' house, or to my boyfriend's house. I have screenshots of the problems. What is it going to take?!? They said the internet tech would come to my place in 1-2 days and check it out. It's been 2 weeks.

Anyway, does anyone know of a cheap internet provider? I might have to just start going with my own. And the mixture of this problem, their unwillingness to help, and the new parking garage that's being built about 20 feet outside my window might mean the end of this apartment. I'm not sure how much more I can stand.
